Develop and document test procedures and train operational staff to those procedures. Troubleshoot tests, print bank equipment, and computer programs. Technical support and lead a technical team. Create and execute automated test scripts using testing software programs. Install, maintain, and use testing software programs and associated hardware.  Recommend program improvements or revisions. Documents, tracks, and communicates test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems.

 

Programmer/Analyst – Basis Administrator - Hewlett Packard                           December 1999 to June 2007

Responsible for the functioning of the Basis layers and the underlying technical infrastructure – HPUX with Oracle databases - for the SAP R/3  (IJ1 - 3000 users and PAH - 500 users) and BW (Business Warehouse) installations for Inkjet supply chain. Functioning of the transport management system, client/instance management, database refreshes and client copies/transports. User and user authorization maintenance. System security. System monitoring. System performance and capacity planning. Version management. Downtime planning and communication. SAP object archiving. Supported all SOX (Audit)  related activities. Relationship management with external partners. Direct and indirect project support. Provided technology consulting, design and implementation in the context of IT platforms for hardware-printer operations and ink-supplies operations for finance, manufacturing, purchasing, planning,  logistics and part management functions as well as pan-IPG supply chain execution activities. Worked collaboratively within the platform team and with the manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and planning groups to accomplish all activities and supported technology development for their platforms as appropriately based on Plan of Record decisions. Responsible for MM, FACTS, Lotplus, Atlas Message Server, Maui and ASC web reports. Investigated, designed and recommended development specifications in support of established projects. Performed actual development, testing, training and documentation for projects where internal development resources were used.  Performed vendor evaluation, recommendation and project leadership for projects where development was subcontracted or software was purchased from outside vendors.  Evaluated and recommended new technologies for use by IT programming team in developing business solutions.  Participated in pilot projects to apply new technologies to customer defined projects.  Facilitated the technology transfer to IT programming teams through training recommendations and individual coaching and consulting. Responsible for the systems analysis, software solution evaluation, programming, implementation, training and internal documentation required to support the customer’s system needs.  Developed and/or acquired key technologies and design methodologies to ensure continuous process improvements.  Acted as business/technical consultant to IT staff.

System Administrator (Corvallis Service Center) – Hewlett Packard                   May 1992 to August 1995

Responsible for providing information technology support to the Corvallis Service Center and ESO Americas for ongoing software maintenance.  Worked with users to develop, recommend and implement solutions to create and/or improve software tools.  Developed, supported, trained and troubleshoot CSC LAN network and associated applications.  MPE 3000 maintenance and development along with associated HP3000 groups, accounts and JCL support.  Maintained HP9000/RTS (Real Time System) for ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System.) Evaluated, maintained and procured PCs/UNIX and peripherals and PC/UNIX  software for the Service Center.
