Rest In Peace

Robert E. “Bob” Richardson of South Charleston passed away at his home on March 7, 2007.

Bob was born in Newark, N.J., in 1935. He was a graduate of the Newark College of Engineering and worked for Union Carbide (now Dow Chemical) for 41 years as a chemical engineer, retiring from the South Charleston Technical Center in 1994.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marie; two sons, Mark R. Richardson of Morgantown and Michael H. Richardson and his wife, Beth Handwerger, of Wayne, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Malia Rae Richardson and Alexander Ryan Richardson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Stephanie Richardson.

Interment was at the Columbarium at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, South Charleston on March 9, 2007. Thank you to Father James O'Connor for all of his help in this time of sadness.
