Baptist Home, 1100 East Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, ND 58501.
If you are in Bismarck, she would love your company! Mom isn't
into the Nursing Home life style!

We were sadden to hear of the passing of David Watson.
He truly
will be missed.

We were shocked to hear that David Lamoureaux died from
a heart attack after shoveling snow at his Newburg bowling alley.

Newburg just won't be the same with the closing of Tonneson's
Store 3-31-01.

- 100TH BIRTHDAY!!!
Mrs. Agnes Vinje Scheflo will celebrate her 100th birthday on June
16, 2000. She is the mother of three children, an aunt to four and great
aunt to five former Newburg students.
Mrs. Scheflo's children are Dr. Myron Scheflo
of Grafton, ND a 1948 Newburg high school graduate; Adeline Heidlebaugh
of Colorado Springs, CO a 1952 graduate and Orlando Jerome Scheflo of
Jensen Beach, FL who transferred to Bottineau in 1954 where he finished
high school. She is an aunt to Sverre and Agnes Scheflo's children
Marilyn Greer, Alexander Scheflo,Jevein Kellams and Monroe Scheflo who
died in 1984. She is, also, a great aunt of Donovan and Elgie Vinje's five
children.
She was born on the Vinje family farm near Landa,
ND on June 16, 1900. After marrying Rudolph Scheflo on April 2, 1929,
she lived on the Scheflo family farm along the bank of the Mouse River
east of the 'Scheflo bridge' in
Starbuck township. In 1973, they moved to Bottineau, ND. Her husband
died in 1980. She moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 1989 where she still
resides with
her daughter, Adeline Heidlebaugh. -
Mrs. Agnes Scheflo passed away on November 3, 2000.
