Goodness, you surely resemble Saul before he was converted and became Paul. You are writing things of which you don't know. Does it frighten you to know Jesus was a mystic? If it does, you have not done much study on this subject and are just reacting to your own fear. One of your "guests" wrote a fear letter about Saddleback. Grief, the gospel that Rick Warren preaches couldn't be more Christ-centered and any more about the cross than any preacher living. That's what ignorance and fear creates, though, isn't it? A friend.

(I Th 2:1-3) Whether you believe in the rapture or not, the apostle Paul makes it clear here that Jesus will not return until the apostasy occurs first and man of sin is revealed. I am afraid that we are witnessing the apostasy or "falling away" from the true faith that is infiltrating the Church, trying to deceive even the elect, if it were possible. I have just read your newsletter about Willow Creek. I have seen the destruction this movement can bring on a church. I have friends attending another church in So. California called Saddle Back Community Church pastored by Rick Warren. His new book "The Purpose Driven Life" is being recommended by so many churches and other respected Christian leaders and I am concerned. Is there anything you can tell me in a nutshell that this book contains that would be a danger for others to read? Do you know if it is scriptually sound? I know Saddle Back is connected with Willow Creek. Thank You
