WELCOME

Welcome to the Martinez Swingers' Square Dance Club Website. Our club conducts an advanced work shop on Tuesday nights and our regular club Wednesday nights. Our Wednesday night club is at plus level with some rounds and line dances between tips. Further information on each of these nights can be found on this website. Guests are always welcome. We encourage you to call ahead just in case we may not be dancing on a given night, a rare but occasional phenomenon.

In addition to square dancing on Tuesday and Wednesday nights the club sponsors a number of hoedowns throughout the year, an annual summer B-B-Q, a family potluck for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and various other activities. The object of the club is to have fun dancing, get some exercise, sharpen our square dance skills, and enjoy each other’s company.

If you are perhaps in the area for just a little while join us for a tip or two. And if you live in or have recently moved into the area and are looking for a place to enjoy some square dancing come and check us out. If you are not a square dancer but would like to experience this great activity let us know. We sponsor a beginners class thru the Martinez Adult School twice a year.
