Five-Week Beginner Square Dance Class

The Martinez Swingers Square Dance Club and Bert Swerer, a 10-year “NCSDA Top 10 Caller,” are currently in a partnership with the Martinez Adult Education Center where a series of square dance classes will be taught. These classes are designed to make learning to square dance as simple as “ABC.”

Beginner Classes on the 

"ABC's of Square Dancing"

The program provides a three 5-week class course called the “ABC’s of Square Dancing.” Students completing all three sessions (15 weeks) will have been taught calls to a proficiency level to dance with local square dance clubs.

Each session consists of five two-hour Saturday classes. Session l is the first session of a three-session course. Following the completion of Session I will be Session II and III. Each session will be adding to and reviewing calls taught in the previous sessions. Experienced dancers who enjoy helping new dancers will be there to dance with you.

                Alhambra Avenue & “F” Streets, Martinez. CA

                Air Conditioned Room !

When:      Saturdays, September 12, 19 and October 3, 17, and 31, 2009 

Time:       10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Fee:         $40 per person - Pre-registration / $45 per person - Day of Class

    SAVE $5.00 if you Pre-Register before September 12th ($40 per person)
