The Gift That Will Never Die

Give your heart to Jesus this Christmas,
Because He first gave His to you.
Let His peace and love be the gift you buy,
It’s the gift that will never, never die.

It’s the time of year we think of peace,
The time of year to share the joy
The time when our hearts learn how to love;
From the coming of a newborn baby boy.

When terrorists and war bring us pain,
His peace He leaves here to remain.
But is it “Peace On Earth” just on Christmas day?
Let peace and love reign everyday.

Let freedom ring. Let Christ be King!
May His words of peace put an end to war.
And in our hearts if we will let Him stay,
Then every day will be like Christmas day!

Then peace on earth good will to men,
Will one day fill the world again,
Let our hearts show love in all that we do,
And may it last the whole year through!
