Alliteration

Alliteration is the repetition of the same sounds or of the same kinds of sounds at the beginning of words, as in many tongue twisters.  Alliteration draws attention to the beginning sounds of words, just as rhyming draws attention to word endings.  Playing with the sounds of words is the fun part of phonologically awareness.
