Explanation of the conversion: Although this conversion is based on his Kenworth Sleeper truck form, it also works
for his Cybertonian form or the 1930's truck he turned into in the Devil's Due comics.
History (Dreamwave comics): Motormaster was among the Cybertonians who joined Megatron in his Decepticon
army and started a civil war with the Autobots.
In an attempt to duplicate the success with Devastator in creating a gestalt warrior,
Motormaster and four other Decepticons were given the ability to merge into Menasor and became known as the Stunticons.
After Megatron and Autobot leader Optimus Prime were lost in an accident with a space
bridge, the Decepticon forces splintered. Motormaster joined the Predacons under the command of Starscream, and became his second in command.
Motormaster was among the Predacons when they attacked the accord between the Autobots, Decepticons and Ultracons
(Transformers: War Within - Age of Wrath #1).
After the Great Shutdown ended, the Stunticons found themselves locked away in stasis pods until Shockwave needed a diversion, and arranged their reformatting into Earth cars and escape. The
Stunticons formed Menasor and defeated the Protectabots and Omnibots, but were eventually put down by Ultra Magnus.
On the road, there is not a 16-ton hunk of rolling steel more cold and cruel than Motormaster. He shows
mercy to none, least of all the unfortunate human drivers who happen to be sharing a highway with him. He'll brutally
barrel through any traffic tie-up - he'd even roll over a baby carriage if it were in his way. He doesn't care - he knows
nothing on wheels can survive a collision with him, except, perhaps, Optimus
Prime - and Motormaster would give you an argument on that. In fact, he looks forward to that very confrontaion so he
can destroy Optimus and claim, without reservation, he is ''King of the Road.'' His Stunticon followers tremble
before his commands, which he gives with a thundering voice that has the hollow, doom-laden tone of an echo from a
bottomless well. They hate him, but they fear him too much to disobey him.
Trivia: On the Transformers television show, the voice of
Motormaster is played by actor Roger C. Carmel. There are foreign made knockoffs
of Motormaster which are the same size and ones which are much smaller than the original.
Powers: Motormaster is incredibly strong, tough and nearly fearless. In truck mode, Motormaster is virtually
unstoppable. He is equipped with a force field which aids him in surviving collisions. At his top speed of 140 mph, he can
ram a 20 foot-thick block of concrete and crumble it without cracking a headlight. Special anti-gravity devices allow
him to make incredible leaps and to drive straight up walls. In robot mode, he has enormous strength and carries an
atom-smasher cannon, which shoots a high-energy beam of protons that can shred all but the densest materials. He can also
fly in robot mode.
Motormaster has a small remote control until called roller, which allows him to be in two places at once.
Motormaster can also assume the form of a base of operations for his fellow Stunticons, or combine with Trypticon in his repair base mode. He forms the head and body when he combines with his fellow Stunticons Breakdown, Dead End, Drag Strip and Wildrider to form the giant robot Menasor.
Weaknesses: Other than being highly fuel-consumptive, Motormaster has few weaknesses. Although none of his fellow
Stunticons like him, they all fear him too much to disobey him. He has average in speed, but he's the slowest of the
Stunticons. Damage to his Roller unit can cause him pain.
