Explanation of the conversion: This conversion is based on a combination of Galaxy Force Flame Convoy and Cybertron Scourge IV. I used highest of either's Tech Specs and watched the television series to add details.

History: Scourge is the brutal and awesomely powerful ruler of Animatros, the Jungle Planet. He views any display of kindness, compassion or generosity as weakness, and he hates weakness. Cold, distant, and prone to violent rage against those he views as lesser creatures, he holds most of the Jungle Planet firmly in his transmetal claw. Those defying him are likely to experience the searing heat of his stellar plasma breath, or the bite of his axe as their final sensation before their spark is extinguished. Overhaul, Snarl IV, and the Jungle Planet rebels will find him to be the most powerful foe they have ever faced.

Starscream III absorbed some of the power of the Omega Lock at his secret island base. Megatron V, Mudflap, Thundercracker III, and Ransack V were released from the prison in space Starscream III had trapped him in when Megatron V combined strength with Scourge IV. Crumplezone II was happy to be reunited with his friend Ransack V. Megatron V then attempted to return to Earth to confront Starscream. The Autobots did the best to delay him. Blurr III and several civilian Autobots cleared the area where the Decepticons arrived of humans. Optimus Prime IV, Vectory Prime, Landmine III, Jetfire III, Scattorshot, Hot Shot III, Red Alert III, Leobeaker, Snarl IV, Override II, Evac and Crosswise III confronted Megatron's Decepticon forces. Landmine III was shocked to find his old friend Mudflap among the Decepticon forces. Megatron V confronted the combined firepower of Red Alert III, Scattorshot and Hot Shot III and was intensely angered by them hurting him just as Starscream III was accessing power from the Omega Lock. This allowed Megatron V to tap into the Omega Lock's power to grant him a new Force Chip weapon, his Death Machinegun. Megatron V used his new weapon without mercy on the three Autobots who had angered him, leaving them near death (Transformers: Cybertron 1.27).

Trivia: Scourge IV shouldn't be confused with the original Scourge, a Decepticon who turned into a hover jet, or the second Scourge, a Predacon who turned into a locust, or the third Scourge, a Decepticon who turned into a semi-truck. In Japan there was a limited edition recolor of Flame Convoy which was colored to resemble the Generation One Autobot Sky Lynx.

Scourge IV Powers: Scourge IV is large, tough and very brave. He can run at over 110 mph. In robot mode he carries a powerful battle axe. He can become a transmetal dragon. In either form he can breath a lethal cloud plasma fire called his Death Flame.

Weaknesses: Scourge IV has few weaknesses, but is sometimes over confident, believing in his might over all else. He follows a code of honor, stressing survival of the fittest. He will only submit to another's wishes if they can stand up to him in combat. He cannot fly, but he has exceptional leaping ability.
