Sarah passed the note back to Jenna.
I can come tomorrow, but my boyfriend can't.
"Jenna?" Ms. Larson asked.
Jenna stared at the board. "I'm sorry, Ms. Larson," she replied. "I wasn't paying attention. But I think you have to divide both sides by 3x."
"Stop passing notes, and pay attention, please," Ms. Larson said. "And dividing both sides by 3x isn't going to help me get y by itself. Does anyone else know what to do?"
"I personally believe," Miss Teen Salinas said, "that you would subtract 3x from both sides, because, like, um, some people in our nation can't subtract, such as in the China and the Africa, and, like, we should help them subtract, such as, um, yeah."
