Battery Switch

Warning: If you are not competent or do not feel comfortable doing any of these modifications or procedures, then please do not do so. I will not be held responsible for any damages caused by a result of your actions. Now on to the fun stuff!

I added this to the battery to unplug the car when it sits for long periods of time. It's also a moderate safety measure for would be thieves. I ran a 15 Amp fuse also so that the radio would not need to be reset after pulling the switch. This is one of the leftovers from my Austin Healey Sprite which I used to own.

Update [09.21.03]: Well, while mounting the battery with an extra support the end of the switch broke off. So it's gone. I'm not sure I'd recommend this to anybody. What if it broke off leaving you stranded somewhere with no tools to remove the switch and replace the cable to the battery. Although, if you're not fooling around with it, I bet it would last. Eh, oh well. I never really used it anyways. I will not be purchasing a new one, that's for sure.
