Professor Kimo and Kohno, Sensei in NY

I had a great opportunity last weekend (1/19-1/20) to
go see Professor Kimo at Professor Tom Ingargiola's school
on Long Island. I had the good fortune of
having 'KenpoJoe' Rebelo accompany
me for the very long ride. I was able to meet
Tatsuji the K-1 fighter who
was in town to train with Professor Kimo and Professor I.
The seminar was great - it's not often you get
to learn from a student of Wang Shu Jin, and
Professor Kimo was great as always. Much of the
most fun was 'around' the seminar - meeting
Keith Tubman and Kim Kleiman of Valley Shore Martial Arts,
exploring the ideas through a variety of martial
arts with Professor Kimo back at the hotel,
delving deep into the various facets of kempo
with Joe Rebelo.
