Special thanks to:
Ben Gawiser of Loudoun Kempo -
http://www.loudounmartialarts.com/
- Along with many combinations, he also sent in the
eight point blocking system -
regular, with strikes, and open handed.
The
ten point blocking system is an
intermediate level, open hand blocking system. Some
schools teach a
variation with
strikes, as was sent in by Stephen Bonk of
Shaolin Kempo Training Center.
Marlon Wilson has submitted the
Four Point blocking set, based
on the rising crane (or chicken wrist to some schools)
and the dropping palm.
Will Tolly sent in a write up for the
Iron Fortress blocking set,
emphasizing two handed blocks.
The
palm blocking set
contains many variations on open hand blocks. Special
thanks to Bryan Bagnas of
Golden Leopard Kempo for the
writeup.
Plum Tree Blocking
System: This is a softer
blocking system, containing mainly parries done in a
'flowing' style. It is usually taught at or near black
belt levels.
We have two versions of
12 Hands of the Tiger,
and add from there. Thanks to 'Gufbal1982' from Martial
Talk for providing the initial write up, and Bryan
Bagnas of
Golden Leopard Kempo for the second
variation.
The
Dragon Blocking Set
is now here courtesy of Stephen Bonk of
Shaolin Kempo Training Center.
The
Masters set, also known as the
eagle claw set, seems to be specific to USSD. Special
thanks (again!) to Bryan Bagnas of
Golden Leopard Kempo for the
writeup.
There's also a Crane Set, Pine Tree Set and the 11 Hands of
Buddha, but we don't have these available yet.
