Jim Brassard offers a tip on combination three on
Youtube.
3 - (CNGeary / Steiner)
Attacker punches with right hand, lead right foot. You step
forward and to the left simultaneous with inward (#4) block
to the wrist. attacker's momentum and reaction to the block
will twist their torso slightly to their left and yours to
your right. You maintain left arm contact with attacker
right arm after block. You strike with a right thrust punch
to attacker's right side floating ribs (Liver 13) unwinding
torso. Attacker's upper body bends forward, weight will now
be shifted to front leg. Attempted left punch by attacker
is neutralized by the blow to the ribs and rotation of his
torso. You grab attacker's right shoulder or upper arm,
pulling downward toward your center, simultaneous with
right back two knuckle punch to temple. Attacker may be
incapacitated by this strike, and should at least be
off-balance and dazed. You follow-through with the back 2
knuckle strike, reaching behind attacker's head and
grabbing their left shoulder with your right hand. Pull
that shoulder towards you and down while pushing the left
shoulder away from you, rotating attacker to his left, off
balance, and then down to the ground on his back. You
follow through, releasing left hand when attacker falls,
controlling left shoulder in front of your right foot. You
strike a left front punch to the solar plexus with kiai,
cross out and guard.
4 – (Loudoun Martial Arts)Step back with
the right leg. #5 block upwards. Grab the punch with
the right hand and throw it with a clock-wise circle.
When coming around on the top of the circle, raking
tiger claw with the right hand to the face of the
attacker. Round house ball kick with the right leg to
the attacker’s chest. Step down in front and
Chinese twist step towards the attacker. Axe kick to
the attacker’s groin. Jump and land on the
attacker’s cheek bones. Front two to the face
with the right hand. Front two to the face with the
left hand. Inside crane kick to the face with the
right leg. Back kick to the face with the right leg.
Cross and cover to the left.
(CNGeary / Steiner)
Attacker punches right hand w/ lead right foot. Step back
with your right foot, upward rigth hand block to attacker's
wrist. Continue upward block in circular motion clockwise,
"throwing" attacker's arm to his right at the bottom of the
circle. Right hand continues circular motion to strike w/
tiger claw palm across jaw (stomach 5) from your left to
right. This may incapacitate the atacker, and should at
least leave them dazed and off-balance. Right front kick to
the chest, step right foot down into twist stance in front
of left foot, then side thrust kick to the chest, knocking
attacker down onto their back.Stepping between attacker's
feet, then stepping up with feet to both sides of their
chest. WIth left hand use "immortal man" finger poke to
left eye, followed by right thrust punch to tip of the
chin. Right roundhouse with heel to attacker's jaw, cross
out and guard.
5 – L step with the left leg coming
into the right and then the right stepping forward. Funky
block with the left and in sword hand position placed
directly on top of the right hand that is in chicken wrist
position. Strike with a right handed back two-knuckle
strike to the attacker’s chin. Then use a side blade
kick to the attacker’s mid-section with a kiai. Cross
and cover away. (there is video of Jim Brassard's interpretation of
this one on youtube)
6 – (Loudoun Martial Arts)Front ball
kick to the mid-section, then cross and cover.

attacker’s ribs. Cross and cover
10 – (Loudoun Martial Arts)Step forward
with the left leg, sliding inside of the attack.
Simultaneous left knife hand to the collar bone, and
right hand ridge hand to the groin. Wrap the
attacker’s arm with the left hand and strike to
their neck with a right knife hand. Step back with the
left leg while striking with another knife hand to the
neck taking the attacker to the ground. Perform two
knife hands to the attacker’s ribs. Unwrap the
