Heavy Traffic on NS Whitethorne

With a curfew in effect on the Christiansburg District due to work on the Pepper tunnel, trains are stacked up on the Whitethorne District.  Each train meets another at almost every siding.  Some trains wait over two hours for their chance to move.

Traffic is light on Norfolk Southern's Christiansburg District due to work on the Pepper tunnel.  West of Roanoke, only two trains came eastbound.  After 6:00 PM and sunset, the flood gates opened and seven trains ran west in two hours.
