Michael Aaron Wertheimer

Comments: Michael was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Charles F. Brush High School in 1975 as class salutatorian. He then went to the University of Rochester graduating Magna Cum Laude with bachelor degrees in Philosophy and Mathematics.
Upon graduation he received the Charles P. O'Hearn scholarship, from the University of Rochester branch of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, to study and travel in Europe for one year. Following that he went to the University of Pennsylvania where we received his M.A. in Mathematics (1980). From 1980 to the present he has worked for the Department of Defense, with one year off (1985-86) to complete his Ph.D. from Penn. Michael met his wife Tina at graduate school, they were married in 1993.
