"There is no need for
a piece of sculpture in a home that has a cat."
~ Wesley Bates ~
| Well, I guess there's
no getting around it. My Mommy says I should give her cats a little
space on my corner and since they're all bigger than me I said okay, so
here they are.
(Please note: When this page was created back in Oct 1998, Max lived with three cats. Sadly, they are now waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge but we would love you to meet them all.) |
| This is Sidney. He was
born in Feb. 1983. He is the oldest of our three cats. He's a very calm
and gentle cat. He was adopted from a shelter when he was a little kitten.
He was named Cindy because everyone thought he was a she. When the Vet
said they'd have to change the name, Cindy became Sidney. I think he is
mommy's favorite, next to me of course. He likes to watch the fish swim
around in the tank. I guess that's why he is such a relaxed cat.
Nov. 29, 1999 - Our beautiful Sidney went to the Rainbow Bridge tonight. We're thankful for the many years we had with him - lots of memories. We love you Sidney - you'll always be here in our hearts. Love, Mommy, Daddy, Max, Sam and Tuffy. |

IN MEMORY... Apr 1987 - Dec 22, 1998 ![]()
"Boo"
This is Boo, the youngest. She was born in April 1987. Mommy first saw her at the vet's office. They had kittens there waiting to be adopted. Mommy already had three cats but when she left the Vet's office, she had four. Boo is kind of a loner. She likes to be by herself which is okay with me. She is the only cat who likes to sleep on the bed at night (my Daddy says he needs a bigger bed!) and can usually be found lying next to Sam. Our little Boo died on Dec. 22, 1998. It was so hard to say good-bye and now there's another fur angel in the sky. Go where all God's creatures go Boo, we will always remember and miss you. Love from Mommy, Daddy, Max, Sam, Sidney and Tuffy.

This is Tuffy. She was an injured stray and about five months old when my Daddy found her in Jan. 1985. She was hiding near his car in the parking lot where he works. Her front paw was hanging off. The vet had to amputate her paw but it doesn't stop her from running around the house. It looks like a little elephant foot. Sam and I try to stay away from her because she's a little weird, although now that she's older she's a little nicer. On Dec. 30, 2000, Tuffy joined her playmates at the Rainbow Bridge. We can only hope they are all looking after each other...until we meet again...we love you Tuffy. Love, Mommy, Daddy, Max and Sam.

This is beautiful Brandy, a lovable lap cat. She liked everybody, and as soon as someone sat down on the couch she would jump on their lap. We're sure she's waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. We all miss you Brandy. Take care of little Boo.

This photo is the only one mommy has with all four of her cats together. Top left is Brandy, top right is Boo, bottom left is Sidney, and bottom right is Tuffy. It's probably the only time the four of them were ever in the same spot at once (good thing someone took the photo!). They weren't really good buddies with each other, they all liked having their own space.Hope you enjoyed meeting our cats!
Before you leave, I'd like you to meet two very lucky shelter cats - Abby and McKinley. They share a home with my "cousin" Karen. Abby, a white Persian, was 10 years old when she was adopted and McKinley was 11. How wonderful that these two seniors will now live happily ever after. (Update - July 2003: Sadly, Abby and McKinley are now at the Rainbow Bridge.)
