HELLO!
Come and play with me in
 MY BACKYARD

I love to run - sometimes I run so fast that I'm just a blur. Mommy thinks I run like a bunny rabbit.

I'm running at double speed here, that's why my ears look like they're flying off. What makes me want to run, you ask? Well any time someone is around to see me - whether they're mowing, working on their cars, playing basketball (which really sends me running in a frenzy) or just standing there watching me, which is the one I like the best.

Here you see me jumping over the raised flower bed. That obstacle is gone now - after my Mommy finally figured out that the cause of my sore leg (after many trips to the vet) was caused by me bumping it on the boards, the boards became history!

I'm carrying a big heavy stick to my Daddy so that we can play fetch. My rubber pacifier, which I prefer, was probably in the house so the next best thing is to find a stick or twig. Anything will do as long as it can be thrown. I always anticipate where they're going to throw it and I'll run ahead. Sometimes the thing will accidentally (so they say!) hit me and when that happens, I quit.

I'm trying to look tall and handsome - it's not easy with these short legs.

Sometimes Caesar comes over to play with me. In case you haven't met him yet, he's my "nephew". He was adopted by my brother Tom. Here he is staring in amazement at how fast his Uncle Maxie can run (I'm that blur). I am running extra fast so that I can catch my new soft floppy disc before Caesar can get it.

Here you see me after I've fetched it. I bring it back to the one who is  playing with me so that they can repeat the process over and over again. I never get tired of playing this wonderful game. My Mommy says I must have those good batteries installed in me because I just keep going and going.

I think my batteries  needed a little recharging  because after a hard day of playing in the yard,  I could barely keep my eyes open. The camera caught me snoozing here while I was sitting at the table with my Daddy.

I sure do hope you enjoyed playing with me today and I
hope you'll come back to play in my backyard again.

Watch out for the raccoons!
