The bench is built on a basic 4x8 table.
In this phase the mountains and track and track bed has been laid out.
Options for expansion exist to expand out and down into a larger layout!
This phase was completed in less then 10 days, from start of bench to a completely
functioning layout with 2 routes.

As a personal endorsement, I have NEVER enjoyed building any modeling kit as much
as I have building Woodland Scenics Layout Kit. Nothing is pre-fabricated, so I was able
to customize it to exactly my needs. I know from past experience that building mountains,
inclining grades and track layout is a long building process. In just one evening I was able
to build the basic base road bed for the track and in a second evening was easily able to
build the graded inclines for the second level. I cannot speak highly enough of their products!
