| About me: |
|
My name is Teresa and I live in Citrus Heights, California. I became the proud owner of “Rudyanna”, a gorgeous Persian Tortie, and her sister “Brieanne”, a Brown Patch Tabby; also from a different litter we received “Masquerade”, a Calico, all from the Cattery, Petmar. I would like to take this time to thank Mary of Petmar for giving me a chance to own these adorable girls.
I knew I wanted to breed Persians, so I began to search for a male. I found a wonderful red male, “Tatum”. He has a good dome, tiny ears, huge eyes, and a sweet temperament. Jean Green (of Steeple Chase) thank you so much for such a wonderful boy. We also acquired “Drysi” a beautiful Blue female from separate lines from Jean.
Our 2003 addition to our cattery is Chalana from Jordanalisa. She is a beautiful dilute calico van. Our 2004 addition is Shekatz's Kaley of DragonPass. She is a high white calico. We hope to start seeing more calicos and bi-colors in the 2005 litters. Thank You libby for this sweet girl! Our 2005 addition is Bellisa's Sean Of DragonPass. He is a beautiful blue tabby and white male. He should produce beautiful kittens! Check him out on the Adults page! Thank you Lisa, you have provided us with an outstanding boy!
We have a cageless cattery because I want to be able to give them tons of attention, plenty of socialization, and lots of love. They all run the house and give us as much attention as we give them. We do not declaw our cats or allow them to roam out of doors. They are too precious to risk their health or lives that way. We screen all applicants for kittens to assure they go to a good home. Contract are on the "Contact" page. The boys have their own room to hang out and play, they get free reign of the house at night and the girls get to hang out in the boy's room. |

| Our Kittens |

The price of our Persian kittens will include a microchip, food, baby book, shots, CFA registration form, toy, and other extras! Each baby book will include your kitten’s photos taken often from birth to 12 weeks, shot documentation, photos of both parents, a mini pedigree, and general care instructions for your kitten.
The bloodlines of our kittens include, but not limited to, Bolo, Tehy, Belcats, Marhei, Sundew, and others. Our kittens are raised underfoot and have been exposed to our cats (all indoor only) our children (not indoor only) and the occasional Grandchild (outdoor as much as possible). All kittens will have had regular visits to the vet and be in good health before leaving our home. I have had many people say we charge too much for our kittens. Well I don't think we charge enough! Here is why: We use only high quality food like Royal Canin and IAMs. We purchase 15lb bags or larger, we feed the adults Royal Canin Persian blend mixed with IAMs hairball. Nursing queens and kittens eat Royal Canin and IAMs kitten. Hairball treatments are given twice a month. I help deliver each kitten as it comes into the world and record it's weight every day until it is 8 weeks old. Weaker kittens are bottle fed to help them catch up to larger siblings. Litters must be registered. Each kitten has vet visits, shots, and micro-chipping. One visit to the vet can run over $80 for just the first shots and health check. Each micro chip runs $35.00. All kittens and cats are treated for fleas with Advantage. There are litter boxes to scoop,or bleach clean. Their play room swept, cat trees vacuumed, and floors mopped. The toys are replaced if too damaged. As all the cats have the run of the house, ther is a lot of vacuuming going on as Persians shed tremendous amounts of hair. The kittens must be combed, bathed and blow dried on a weekly basis from 5 weeks until they go home.We spend a lot of time brushing, bathing, blow drying, trimming nails, washing faces ect. of the adults as well. In the summer all the adults are stripped of their heavy coats so they can cool down in the California heat. Kittens must have play time and be socialized, as well as the adults. Each furbaby wants it's own "Mommy" time for scritches and cuddles. This is both kittens and adults. ![]() Kittens photos are updated and trimmed and added to the web site. New families to contact about the updates. I have contracts to send out, or file. Kitten Photos to print out for their baby books, and pages to be printed, collated, and placed into the binders. Kitten packs to order from Iams, Royal Canin and Worlds Best cat litter. Baby blankets to wash and keep for the trip to their new home. Boxes loaded with their food, litter, binder, blanket, toy and all the extras that come with each kitten. Kittens are delivered to the new owners sometimes as far as 300 miles or have to be crated and shipped via the airlines. As you can see it costs money, time, and effort to raise these beautiful babies and takes a lot of creative scheduling. Every kiten will go home strong, healthy, confident, litter trained, and fully weaned. I feel for all we invest in their care they are really a bargin! |
