Matthew rolled over from his front to his back yesterday. He said he'd do it again for "one beelion dollars"...

Matthew was baptised on Sunday! He made a funny face when the water was poured over his head, but smiled big when the officiant patted his head dry. Hopefully I'll have some pictures soon.

Sorry it's been so long since the last post! He has an appointment on September 25th with the urologist to find out if and when he'll need surgery to correct his reflux problem. His ureters insert into his bladder in the wrong position. He will probably need them reimplanted. :(

I just got back from a business trip to Boulder, Colorado. It was the first time I've been away from my family for more than a workday since we had Matthew. It was nice to come home...

At the rescheduled kidney appointment, we found out that Matthew's reflux is "moderate to severe". He often pees twice in quick succession. Now we know that's because his bladder empties, making room for the urine in his kidneys to flow in, and then he empties it again. There's no way to predict if or when he'll grow out of it. I hope he likes how the antibiotics taste!
