It is sculpture that is my anchor when I am stretching in new directions. What I love about working with clay stone is its capacity to embrace the flaws of the human expressions and render an endearing portrait. These portraits I create possess individuality, character, personality. These heads I create comfort me in times of trouble and unrest. They are reflections of my belief in the human individual, the person whose goals are small and simple, who in achieving their small goals are most successful for in simplicity there is true happiness.
