A lot of people ask me what software I use to create and edit Digital
Video, so I decided to give a brief explanation of the applications
I find useful.
| Initial Stage : CAPTURING |
| The first stage with any of the digital video
movies that I make, involves capturing the footage from the
camera. For this I use an IEEE firewire connection,capturing
to the application. |

| Stage 2: INITIAL PROCESSING |
| Next I edit each clip individually, adding
slow motion effects to various clips if needed, and adjust levels
such as color balance and hue / saturation. |

| Stage 3: Sounds / Audio |
To keep the beat on track, I add music
/ audio to set mood on each of the movies I make.

| Final Stage : RENDERING |
| The final step in the process, is to render
out the movie for its purpose. For example, if the
target is DVD, I will render out the MPEG DVD Compliant
streams. If the target media
is Web, I will need to create compressed clips that stream ready
for the Internet. |
