Okay, here is where I will really get myself in trouble and churches from all over will be writing and calling me names.

First try and stay with me because churches and ministries do need our support in order to get the Gospel out. But the tithe from what I can see was Old Testament and was for care of the temple. When Jesus was here, I can’t find any place where he asked for money for his ministry. Oh but wait you say that’s not true what about the rich man that Jesus told to sell everything he owned and give it to the poor. Well I am glad you asked; let’s look at a few things first. The tithe is 10% of your income and it is the 1st 10% so that is before taxes. This amount will be different for all of us so I will let you put a dollar amount to that based on your income. I also want to let you know that tithing is an Old Testament business deal between God and any one that wishes to enter into the deal with God. And it works give 10 % of your income to God and he will give you more back then what you put in.

But like I said this is open to anyone believer and nonbeliever alike and if you are a Christian tithing your money and you are not seeing any return, but the unsaved man down the road every time he gives it seems to come right back and he just keeps getting richer. Don’t let this get you down, as a Christian your treasure is in heaven waiting for you, now sometimes God gives you some on earth. But the unsaved have to be paid upfront because they won’t be rich in Hell there is no treasure in Hell waiting them, and when God makes a deal he keeps it.

Now lets talk about money and the church today, Jesus dose not ever ask for money for his ministry nor dose he teach to ask for money what he asks for is for everything. Listen God is not asking for 10% of your income. He wants everything, what dose he tells the rich man sell everything you own and give it all to the (church????) (To his ministry??) NO! to the poor. He did not ask for just his money or 10% He asked for it all. And he did not ask for himself, he asked for the poor. The story of potter’s field, he was not asked to sell his land and give 10% of his profit. He was to sell his field and give all the money. Now him and his wife only gave half that’s 50% of there income and that was not the amount they were to give. And it leads to them dying. The widow that gives the mite, Jesus points out how great this is because it was all she had it was 100%.

God wants 100% of everything not just our income, our land, food, time ourselves he wants everything. 

The Gospel of  Jesus Christ if FREE and giving will not save you.

Salvation is FREE and giving will not save you.

You can not pay for someone’s sins with money.

You can not pay someone to pray for your love ones and get them prayed out of Hell.

The church should be supported by its members without ever asking them for money or taking and offering. The church should practices what it preaches (FAITH) the Lord knows the needs of the church and will provide, if the church is willing to wait on the Lord.

You see if the church is always passing the offering plate and asking for money, when the unsaved enter in the only massage they will hear is “GIVE ME, GIVE ME” and the sad thing is they came in looking for help and seeking the truth and leave turned off to the whole God thing.

I can not find any place where the first church asked for money from the people it was preaching to, most of the first church kept working their jobs and gave their time and money to get the Gospel out to the world. They gave 100% of everything to the death.

I have yet found a church that is willing to put their offering plates away and trust God for all their needs. We as the truth church have the power of God on our side and only have to ask him, and he will provide. In stead we are baggers asking for a hand out and in many cases closing our church doors because we can’t get the money to keep them open.

We have grate man that rise up and clam that they have the answers and you can have then to if you buy their book for $19.95, People who say come to their church and you can be healed charging large a mounts of money to just get in to see some men clamming to have the power to heal but not having the time to heal all that came. The church of today has become big business, But the truth is free and it always has been. There is no cost for the answers. Jesus never asked for money to heal someone and nowhere did he say take the Gospel copyright it and sell it to the world.

Living for the true God is not a business, there is no profit and it takes 100% of everything you are and have. And is worth every bit of that and more.
