RulesThe tournament will feature 2 rounds. In the first round, players will be placed randomly in 4 four-player groups and have randomly assigned armies. Each player will play two games with each opponent in his group; in one game they will play with their assigned armies and in the other they will switch armies. Any map can be used, except the Training, Meadow or Large maps. Army list options can be freely chosen for each battle. The top player, those with the most wins, from each group will go on to the final round . They will play two game matches with each player in their group as in round one. In the case of a tie in number of games won, a comparison of victory points determines the top player. Victory points are computed as follows:
For example, Player A defeats Player B with a final score of 2:5G. Player A scores 6 victory points (4 non-general elements [+4] and a general element [+2]) minus Player Bs 2 victory points for a total of 4 victory points awarded to Player A for his win. Should two players have equal wins and victory point totals, their record against one another will be the deciding factor. In the unlikely event that the two players both won one game apiece and scored the same victory points against one another, they will play a third and decisive game. Scores will be written in the color corresponding to the player who won the game. Special Rule : The Contract Group button can only be used to form a column. Anyone who uses it to shift elements around will forfeit those games. Please use a text message between pip usage if it seems like it may cause problems . And if a player ask that you do so, please respect it . The Tournament Manager will not be used so players are responsible for making challenges and reporting results on the Forum. Setup :Blind Deployment. When Yorkist(179) plays against Lancastrian(179) , make sure players have 1 home/away game each.
