Welcome to Carr's Painting

I began as a painter in 1977, apprenticing at two well respected painting companies, and successfully established Michael Carr's Painting and Decorating Service in 1985. In 1992 I began studying *Decorative Finishes* under several different Master Decorative Finishers:	Mike McNeal, recognized by the guild of painters and stainers of England as a master craftsman and awarded the title of: "Freeman Of The City And Guilds" Carl Fredirekson, teaching the art of *Decorative Finishes* for 15 years. Keith Warwick, from England who brought with him the old world look at decorative painting. Don Gray, a "Teachers Teacher" from Dorset, England. Mr. Gray has taught the art of *Decorative Finishes* for over 40 years.	Believe it or not, this is a flat metal door painted to look like a 6 panel door.
I continue to learn everyday. Everybody has a different technique for *Decorative Finishes*. I always keep my eyes open because I never know where I'll pick up my next tip.
