Nothing promotes good boat design like cold water. Behold the sea kayak - the most efficient boat design known to man. It was invented about 12,000 years ago by arctic seal hunters, and those guys knew a well-built boat could be the difference between Ice King and iceberg. As opposed to whitewater kayaks, which are small, short and meant for almost stationary maneuvering; larger, longer sea kayaks are designed for open-water travel. |
