
I'm a Principal Engineer at BBN Technologies now working primarily on the Semantic Web. I previously was one of the principal developers of BBN's Cronus/Corbus distributed computing environment and worked on DAML and a number of other DARPA programs.

I worked for BBN in Cambridge, MA from 1984-1992. In 1992, I became a telecommuter, based in Portland, OR (1992-1995), Spokane, WA (1995-2004), and Ann Arbor, MI (2004-present).
I have a BS in Computer Engineering from Stanford University and did graduate work in Computer Science at the University of Rochester.
My wife Nancy and I have 2 children: Jason (born in 1997) and Noah (born in 1999).
