1. Service Fee - $40 to search back as far as I can go (I stop at immigration or at 1790 era -IF- I can get that far), You will receive a copy of your family tree with names and any dates that are found, direct line only, no images, no documents. Fee to be paid upon completion of initial search.
2. Service Fee - $80 to search back as far as I can go (I stop at immigration or at 1790 era -IF- I can get that far), You will receive a copy of your family tree with names and any dates that are found, all images and documents on a CD. Fee to be paid upon completion of initial search.
3. Service Fee - $120 to search back as far as I can go (I stop at immigration or at 1790 era -IF- I can get that far), You will receive a copy of your family tree with names and any dates that are found, all images and documents on a CD, and notebook with copies of images and documents, family tree, and family histories. Fee to be paid upon completion of initial search.
*4. KIT Service Fee - $50 to search back as far as I can go (I stop at immigration or 1790 era -IF- I can get that far), YOU receive a CD with all images I can find of census, birth, death, headstones and news clipping documents that were located so that YOU can decipher on your own, enter your information into YOUR OWN genealogy program, and MAKE YOUR OWN family tree record and family history notebook. Fee to be paid upon completion of initial search.
Why have I chosen these prices?
The prices reflect researching and transcribing the family tree, and for the many pages I print out. I use a purchased genealogy program to enter data into. I spend time and money accessing subscription genealogy websites, as well as numerous other historical, city and county websites. Once I begin finding the family members I add historical documents that I’ve retrieved to their family history file in my genealogy program. Usually within a month I have several of the family members traced back to their immigration to the United States (or to 1790).
I start my research about circa 1930's and work my way back. Documents I search through are census documents, news clippings, land titles, birth, death, and marriage documents, and military and pension documents (WWI, Civil War, 1812, Rev War). Sometimes I find immigration and travel documents, photographs of homes, graveyard headstone images, and copies of city directories (precursor to the phone book). Each family will have different documents in their family history scrapbook.
When I have made copies of all the documents, which can be costly in printer ink I like to place all of it together in a notebook, with all sheets in page protectors. I make a digital file of the family history (a CD) and place it into the notebook. Once finished, the notebook has to be packed into a box and and then it costs to be shipped to you.
