Fall Season Recap

I will fill in more details at a later date, but I must say that the Pioneer Crew seemed to find more speed as the season progressed. They capped off the season with an overall Team victory at the American Heritage Fall Classic in Wyandotte. The Other Coach sure looks proud because that other team didn't steal this one from him.

Horton Cup

Saline Crew wins Horton Cup for the first time. The Fall season is underway and although the Pioneer's showed speed, both Huron and Saline are putting together some well rounded crews. The average speed of all the boats compiled put the Saline Crew in first place, the Huron Crew in second place and the Pioneer Crew in third place. Pioneer had 11 boats entered, while Huron had 8 and Saline had 5. While Saline did not win a single race their 5 boats had a better average time than the other two schools. Let's hope the Pioneer's can find some more speed in the weeks to follow from the boats down on the depth chart. The bright spot is the Pioneers won 5 of the the races, followed by Huron with 3 wins.
