Photos from Edwin Warner Park
Last updated 12/13/2005
These photos were taken in Edwin Warner Park, Nashville,
Tennessee. The
park is not far from our home and my wife, Pam, and I walk
our 4 mile
course there several times a week. There is always something
interesting to see or hear, as the woods is home to a wide variety of
critters.
I started carrying my camera with me early in 2004, when I
started
seeing Barred Owls on a regular basis. I soon found a nesting
pair and
recorded the process as they raised two baby owls. Links to
the series
are below.
There are also Red-tailed Hawks, Blue Birds, Indigo Buntings,
butterflies, skinks and snakes, as well as a wide variety of
wildflowers. I will be adding to this site so please check back on
occasion.
Just
click the links, below the thumbnail photos, to be taken to the
individual webpages.
