GIVING

Volunteers are always welcome. Volunteers can donate one hour or more a month or even work seasonally during the winter holidays or summer holidays. Volunteer opportunities and training for programs include:

  • Family Assistance—providing telephone support from your home for clients needing financial assistance
  • Driving—taking the elderly or persons in need to local doctor appointments
  • Bargain Loft Staff—pricing, stocking and/or cashiering
  • Thanksgiving and Holiday Baskets—assembling and distributing baskets for the needy.

Donations are needed. We are always happy to add good quality household items to the Bargain Loft shelves. Checks in any amount from individuals, businesses or groups are greatly appreciated. Almost 90% of all Herndon-Reston FISH, Inc. revenue goes directly to help people.

We are a tax Deductible 501(c)(3) organization and are part of the United Way and Combined Federal Campaign No. 8359.
