Subject: Hastings Event Information<br>

            Information about the event to be held at Hastings, Michigan on the weekend of July 18-19, is attached.<br>
This event is a battalion staff supported event, which means that while it is not a maximum effort event, members<br>
of the battalion staff will be present to offer support to the affiliated companies assembled.<br>
<br>
<br>
            According to the instructions, preregistration was to be concluded by June 19 with anyone not <br>
preregistered by that time being subject to a $10.00 registration fee. I have been advised that the fee has not <br>
been administered yet and we can still preregister without being subject to the fee through next week. Registration<br>
by companies is encouraged by the event sponsors. A registration form is included in the information attached. It<br>
is suggested that the affiliated companies do their best to register for the event next week to avoid the fee <br>
assessments. Company captains are also asked to advise the Colonel and the Adjutant of the number of men they <br>
anticipate will be reporting for duty at Hastings so that appropriate planning can be made for the assembly.<br>

            Officers and members of the battalion staff who want to register through battalion headquarters are <br>
asked to advise the adjutant by Wednesday, July 1 so that staff registration can be submitted timely. Notification<br>
can be done by telephone (317-616-8936) or by email.<br>
