- You will immediately callout' FIRE' followed by your post number if an uncontrolled fire breaks out.
                    -Sentinels will not quit their piece unless ordered to do so by an Officer or NCO of the Guard.
                    - Y ou will call out' Sgt. or Cpl. of the Guard' (followed by your post number) to summon help. This call will be echoed by the other sentinels.
                    -Sentinels are not required to walk a beat. You must remain at your post but may sit.
6. Read any Special Orders (Special Orders may countermand the Standing Orders).
7. Command the men from the previous Relief reserve to fall in at the end your Relief.
8. Under the supervision of your predecessor, conduct your relief to their posts. Relieve Post 1 (headquarters) first followed by each post in
succeSSIon.
                    -Command Support - Arms, Forward- March and conduct the Relief to Post 1.
                    -Halt the Relief 6 paces from the
Sentinel in front of Post 1, and command Shoulder

Arms.
                   
-To the First man, Command, 'No.1, Arms - Port. Advance.' (Number 1 will approach
Post 1 who will also come to Arms
