Colonel Medich and Major McIntosh,

I have a question for you on the Medich bttn event in Minooka.

Whom do I contact to pass on a request for Medich bttn members for this
event?

Here is the thing, we need as many of your members as possible to bring a
Federal jacket for Saturday's battle start out.

We want to do a capture scenario at the beginning of the battle and the
scenario goes like this:

The battle field has two shack like buildings, a wagon and a long stretch of
split rail fencing and there are roads through this area. It is set up like
a crossroads.

We want to have a group of 20 or so "Federal" infantry guarding this
crossroads. We want to have the CS infantry come up and capture this group
and then take them off the field, out of sight for the public. There is a
hillock, the other side which the public cannot see, that will work for
this.

We need this force that gets captured to really be Confederates dressed as
Federals so that when we take them off the field they can switch into their
CS jackets and come back in a little later as a relief force.

In this way we not only make the battle longer, but we don't sacrifice a
bunch of Federal reenactors that have to stay out of the battle after
getting captured (or end up marching all the way around to rejoin their own
side. And this field is WAY too big for such a march).

So, I need some way to let Medich bttn people know of this request and I
would appreciate it if you guys might pass this event request on.
