Colonel Medich:

Sir, I am informed by General Rambo that it problematic regarding your
battalion's participation at Corinth this year.

I am writing to urge you and your soldiers to make every possible
effort to attend.

This will be a watermark event in the history of the First Confederate
Division. Gen'l Moore is evolving the division towards an organization
that is more historically accurate in the way that we participate in
these events. As you are no doubt aware, this has ruffled many
feathers in the old division. We need the support of every like-minded
commander at this event. For those that are attempting to put
roadblocks in the way of this evolution, a "no show" is a "no" vote.
If you truly support General Moore's direction, we need the presence of
you and your gallant battalion.

Secondly, the event alone merits the attendance of one of the
division's best organizations. The event site, the scenarios, the
works that are being constructed ( a 3/4 scale Battery Robinette) will
make this event one that will be well-remembered for years to come. It
offers excellent opportunities for your battalion to thrive in an
environment that you and your boys will greatly appreciate. Everyone
who has seen the site and plans comes away very enthusiastic! This is
going to be one of our best events yet and we need your battalion
there! This is one that you do not want to miss!!

I ask that you strongly reconsider and make every effort to turn out in
force at Corinth this year!

I am, Sir

Your obedient servant,

MR Ventura
Chief of Staff
First Confederate Division
