Ordering and Custom Work

All prices are subject to change without notice and do not include shipping.

Commissions require a 50% deposit and the balance within 30 days of completion.  A delay in final payment of longer than 30 days will result in forfeiture of the deposit.  At the time of the order, an accurate foot outline, styling details, and leather type will be requested.   All lasts remain the property of Dru Shoemaker.  Due to variations in the leather market,  choice of colours is occasionally limited, though brown, dark brown and black are always on hand. In addition, some colored leather will entail an additional charge.

Shipping within the Continental US for a single pair of shoes or pattens is $10.00 US.  Shipping for other locations will be subject to an additional charge.

For each size over 12 there is an additional charge of $10.00 for shoes and $2.50 for pattens.

There is also a last charge of $35.00 if new lasts need to be made.

Example of custom work:  These 16th C. thigh high boots were commissioned by Mesa Southwest Museum and are on display as part of a permanent exhibit.  Shown here worn by an associate curator with armour by Windrose Armoury
