Welcome to the Conger Beach Weather Station in Port Huron Michigan.

Page revised 05/22/07. (Ref. Added link to APRS format.)

This is a private amateur weather station located on the western shore of Lake Huron about four-tenths of a mile north of the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse which is about four-tenths of a mile north of the Blue Water Bridges at Port Huron MI.

The information provided on this website is for advisory use only and is not guaranteed to be accurate or up to date.

The Station is about 100' from the water's edge. Its about 40' above lake level in an effort to minimize the effect of trees and buildings to the west. I think this has helped reduce that effect. Even so wind speed and direction data from the westerly directions may be adversely affected. The "Current weather" data is updated every 10 minutes. However it takes a few additional minutes to compile and upload the data. The daily highs in "Current weather" are cleared at midnight. The "Historical weather" data is for the current 14 days. There is lots of useful information here. The barometric trend will indicate, with remarkable reliability, if we have good weather coming when its rising or lousy weather coming when its falling. The UV Index will tell you how much blockout to wear and the Solar Radiation will even tell you if the sun is shining in Port Huron!

Select "APRS weather" for Conger Beach weather conditions displayed as station cw7876 in the Citizens Weather Observation Program (CWOP). Aside from different graphics this website includes a current Doppler radar weather image and a satellite view of the location among many other useful links.
