We went to the landscape supply yard near our house and picked up about 1/2 ton of egg rock. It is about the size of a golf ball but oblong.

We started adding water as we added the rocks to keep the liner in place.

The build crew ad to get in the water to work the liner into place.

We also went to Home Depot and got ~ 4 bags each of the different sized pea gravel. We then made a trip back to our local landscape supply yard and brought back 3/4 ton of river rock for the inside and edges of the pond as well as the waterfall and streambed.

We had to make two additional trips to the landscape yard for river rocks.

At the end of this day, we had hand lifted each of 1 1/2 tons of rock!
