Article Summary
Find an article from a newspaper, magazine, journal, or internet site related to Psychology. Read and summarize this article. The summary should include: one paragraph interpreting what you read, a second paragraph stating how it relates to psychology, and a third paragraph giving your opinion of the article. This handwritten summary should be at least one page in length.
Students can turn in up to four articles per quarter, to earn 5 points per article/20 points per quarter.

Movie Summary
You can watch an approved movie and write a summary to earn up to 10 points extra credit. Your summary needs to include: one paragraph summarizing the movie (what it was about), one paragraph explaining how the movie relates to psychology, and one paragraph giving your opinion of the movie (thumbs up or thumbs down). This should total at least one handwritten page.
Students can turn in 2 movie summaries per quarter for extra credit.
