"I was lucky enough to be asked to judge the first ever CFA Meows show and I am here to tell you it was a fantastic and rewarding experience. The cats and kittens entered were beautiful examples of the breed and I am thankful to have been a part of it. Thanks to all that supported the first MEOWS show and a special thanks to those that attended their first CFA show. We welcome you and hope to see you at future shows. It was so nice to witness the commroderey amongst the Sphynx folks, they worked  well together and got along so well. The exhibitors came  from all over the Country to support this wonderful breed and Anthony from South Africa was also in attendance and had a great time. The theme was "pink" and pink it was. A lot of time and very hard work goes in to putting on a show as nice as this one, "Special Kudos" to all that made it happen. Thanks again for asking me to be a part of it, an experience I won't soon forget. Continued success and good luck with your future shows."

It was a wonderful show, and many thanks again to the ring sponsors your signs on the table were noticed by all in the hall and Paul did a great job on them.
Sue Gleason, what a job you did.  My hat off to you.
We had many if not all members help out, all asked what they could do and no one was too busy to pitch in.  I am very happy that I was able to meet all of you.
Winners were, Della, Kristen and Sue.  (Sorry I don't have the catalog to know the cats name. Sue or anyone can help with that info?)
The judges seemed to have fun with the breed and the breeders, many times over.  The feeling in the air was light and warm.
We had dinner for 16 of us, and what a good time.
It was a great day and fun evening.  Those that missed it, you really did miss out.
For the breeds first show, it could not have gone better.
I can't wait to see you all again.  Thank you ALL for the many laughs and good time.

A big congratulations to the M.E.O.W.S. Cat Club -- Midwest Enthusiasts of Wonderful Sphynx -- on its inaugural show Saturday in Milwaukee!

It was a lot of fun and very impressive, especially for a club's first-time venture.  I hope M.E.O.W.S. will be offering many more shows in the future.

Kudos to club president Paul Patton, show managers Sue Gleason (also show secretary/treasurer) and Carol Haydu, the ring sponsors and everyone else involved in putting on this show.  And all those Sphynx breeders/owners really did themselves proud with 32 Sphynx entered in the show -- 20 of them kittens!  It was indeed, as advertised, "Pretty in Pink!!"

Cheers,
Rosemary
