M.E.O.W.S. is a CFA affiliated club that originated in the early 1990's. The club's original name was the Midwest Enthusiast of Winn Society and was founded to generate donations for the Winn Society and their studies on F.I.P.

The club, with the help of many Region 6 club's, was very successful in this venture. M.E.O.W.S. was awarded a leaf on the donations tree that is located in CFA's Central Office in 1997.  Our donations reached $5,000.00.

Two founders and longtime members of the club, Sue Gleason and I have talked for quite awhile about changing the name and making this club a breed club for Sphynx. When we submitted our club fees for renewal in 2003, we decided to make the name change happen and the change has been formally approved by Central Office.

       
             M.E.O.W.S. has officially become the Midwest Enthusiasts of Wonderful Sphynx.
