As we gather historical and current reference for the Sphynx, I will be posting the articles here. Currently, they are only available for viewing in PDF format, but soon will also be available in Microsoft Word as well. "The Canadian Hairless Cat (Sphynx): Allergies", by
Riyadh Bawa, from the 1969 CFA Yearbook. "The Sphinx Cat" written by William D. Eisenman from
the Sep/Oct 1970 issue of Cat Fancy. "The Sphinx Cat (Hairless) captions by William D. Eisenman from the Oct 1970 issue of
Cat Fanciers News. Everyone know that the Sphynx was originally accepted into
Provisional Status in CFA in 1971 and removed from Provisional Status in 1972.
Throughout the years, various reasons for the removal have been quoted. Here is
