Up Solid Tabby Bicolor Mink Sepia

Each of the feline registration organizations have varying nomenclature for registering specific colors. These charts were created to provide a convenient method to properly describe your Sphynx colors in CFA.

The Solid Tab includes Solids and notes on the Smoke, Shaded, Chinchilla & Shell Colors.
The Tabby Tab includes both Tabby & Parti-colors of the Solid Colors.
The Bicolor Tab includes any pattern or color with white.
The Mink Tab includes both Pointed & Mink Colors.
The Sepia Tab includes all of the 'Burmese' Colors.

A Special Note on CFA's 'Color Classes' in the shows: With the new show season, starting 1 May, Sphynx will be broken out into 3 competitive color classes or categories.  DO NOT rely on your cat's registration prefix to enter them into the proper Color Class for competition. Mistakes are often made concerning what prefix to use during the registration process. For example, I have seen a Blue Mink & White cat that had a 5188 'Mink' prefix and I have seen the same color registered under the 5060 'Bicolor' prefix. Use the actual color of your cat to determine which color class to enter them in.
