I had originally designed this portion of the website for the CFA Sphynx Breed Council website when I was their breed council secretary.

I have tried to accumulate some information concerning the heart as a place to start in your search for knowledge on the subject. I have used information on the human heart, since it is more readily available, but it still works the same in all mammals.

I have also included information all the various forms of cardiomyopathy and not strictly Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM).
