Introduction
Weapon X was initially the tenth project of the Weapon Plus program headed up by the Canadian government's Department K. This installment of Weapon Plus was experimenting on a team of mutants that they called Team X, a covert CIA group of mutants. The most famous of the group is of course Wolverine, who was actually called Weapon X for a time. Weapon X used a process they called Experiment X to coat Wolverine's bones with Adamantium and turn him into the ultimate killing machine. Of course they couldn't control him and he broke free and let all of the other mutants that were being experimented on free as well. Weapon X then broke free from the Weapon Plus program and continued it's experiments on mutants using samples of Wolverine's blood. This group contained many failures that were sent to a facility to be experimented on further, but Deadpool, one of the failed experiments, set everyone free. Another facility that actually called itself The Facility broke off from Weapon X and attempted to make a new super assassin by cloning Wolverine. Eventually that project gave us X-23. Director Malcolm Colcord brought back the Weapon X project once more, this time in the United States, and he sought to use it to monitor and eliminate mutants that he basically didn't care for I suppose, and this especially was true for Wolverine who had injured him during the first go around of Weapon X. He set up a strike force and gave many of them enhanced abilities as well to carry out his missions. A group called the Underground led by Cable fought to destroy Weapon X and reveal the human right atrocities to the rest of the world and nearly succeeded in shutting the whole thing down, but Colcord fled. The new director, Brent Jackson formed yet another team but the events of M-Day pretty much shut them down completely.

History with Deadpool
Department K recruited me into their Weapon X program promising to make me into a super hero. They used some of Wolverine's blood to give me a healing factor to help cure my cancer (which didn't really work) and put me on a team with Garrison Kane, Sluggo and Greg Terraerton. Terraerton turned out to be a little bit completely psychotic and I killed him, so Weapon X called me a reject and threw me into the Hospice where Dr. Killebrew took me into his "workshop" to experiment on me. I was close to dying when I first met Death there and I longed to be with her, so I started tormenting Ajax buy calling by his real name, Francis. Ajax wasn't allowed to kill me and I was surviving Killebrew's experiments so Francis lobotomized Worm and I couldn't bear to see him that way, so I ended his suffering. Ajax was then allowed to kill me, but death is what kick started my healing factor and I came to and busted outta that joint. Much later on brought me back in to Weapon X and they enhanced my healing factor so much so that limbs grew back instantly and I had no scarring. Of course I joined them but it turned out to be a huge mistake. They recruited Copycat and enhanced her powers as well, but it was not working very well for her and I was told to eliminate her. Of course I wouldn't do that but Sabretooth ended up finding her and murdering her. I went after Weapon X and Colcord but they had some way of turning me into goop and killing me. Lucky for you all I came back!
