IGBO ANNUAL TOURNAMENT
Well, we are a month closer to the
Annual Tournament in Denver and I've had
nobody tell me that they're going!
I will tell you all now that I AM
planning on going, but I don't wanna go
by myself!! Maybe we can talk the
board into paying the tournament fee for
all members who want to attend!
Again, the tournament is May 24-27th
(Memorial Day weekend). From what
I understand, everybody will bowl at
least 9 games...singles, doubles, then
teams (of 4). You will be
competing against everyone in your
average category (I'm not sure how they
separate the categories). Prizes
will be awarded for high scratch
bowlers, as well as high handicap
bowlers. Aside from bowling, there
will be plenty of activities to keep you
entertained. The time to act is
now. Flights and hotels have to be
booked now to take advantage of the
savings! To avoid late
registration fees, you must be
registered by April 15th. I have
all the registration information, as
well as the host hotel info, and
anything else you would need to
know! See me now!!
KAREN DOESN'T SING!
Karen will be out of the singing
business the rest of this month as she
recovers from shoulder surgery.
Her April schedule is listed below and
is also available on her website...www.kgrenier.com.
NHGMC NEWS
The New Hampshire Gay Men's Chorus is in
full swing in preparation for their
tribute to Cole Porter in May.
Tickets will be available soon. If
you know someone who would like to place
an ad in our program, please see Tim
immediately (ads due by 3/15). You
can also go online to
www.nhgmc.com
and make 'Well Wishes' to your favorite
chorus members, which will be printed in
the program. The chorus is also in
the process of determining a scholarship
winner for the 3rd annual NHGMC
Scholarship. The scholarship is
awarded to any graduating senior from a
NH high school who will be majoring in
Performing Arts as a full time
student. If you know of someone
who would like to participate, send them
to our website or have them give me a
call.
NEXT NEWSLETTER
Guess who's going on vacation
again?! Richard & I will be
leaving at the end of the month for Ft.
Lauderdale, so the next newsletter won't
be out until April 11th. I'm
having a hard time making up stories for
this newsletter, so if you have ANYTHING
you want put on here, please send an
email to
timrich64@comcast.net.
Don't tell me at bowling (unless you
make me write it down!!) otherwise I'll
forget!
