Can you tell me more about ET? I heard it ran on similar Anti-Aliasing hardware as Return of the Jedi... Is this one of those things you can't talk about by fear of getting your fingers broken? I at least take it the game had no resemblence to the 2600 ET game? =)
Well, little or none. It was similar gameplay, in that pretty much
all one can do for an "E.T." game is "wander around dodging NASA badguys
and collecting the pieces to "Phone Home". But of course the graphics
were a bit better :-) That hardware also hosted Ed Logg's original
"Road Runner" coin-op, which was also never
produced. And, there was an E.T. Pinball prototype.
The "ET" pin was also the "4x4" pin. I seriously don't recall which was
first, but I think it was ET. That ought to keep you going... :-)
