AMATEUR CAMP: Geared toward recreational players and young competitive players with limited experience. Campers of all ages attend this camp.

ADVANCED CAMP: Designed for advanced recreational players & those with some exposure to competitive soccer. Normally, campers under 10 do not attend this camp.

TEAM CAMP: A minimum of 10 team members must attend. Teams attending must submit their applications together, along with a roster. It is recommended that a coach attend with each team. Team camp will provide even the most advanced player with an opportunity for personal growth and development. The primary focus will be on all aspects of team training with particular emphasis on technical training, tactical formation and game strategy. Team camp will also provide match opportunities so campers can apply what's being taught in game situations. Since the match results are of no importance, players will be encouraged to experiment and take risks. Matches will be 5V5, 6V6, and 7V7.

Each camper must bring a shin guards, a water bottle and a snack. A Metros training t-shirt will be provided.

If you have questions or want us to conduct a soccer camp at your facility,
call the Nashville Metros at 615-210-0212.

Metros Head Coach Rico Laise says,
"I believe learning from players competing at the highest level is the best teaching method for players of all ages."

Expert coaching and instruction for player development in an age appropriate, challenging and enjoyable environment. Our camp counselors will include current Nashville Metros. We will focus on skills building and small-sided games to keep camper to ball touch ratio constant.

Players associated with the Metros club and its training methods continue to move up the soccer ladder. Memphis native, Richard Mulrooney who played for the Metros in 1995 and currently with the 2001 MLS Champions, San Jose Earthquakes, was the first Tennessee player to be named to a US National Team World Cup Squad. In 2005, former Nashville netminder Eduardo Carvacho was named goalkeeper coach by the Columbus Crew. Other former Metros players and camp staffers who have played in the MLS include Danny Devall, Cole Burgman, Gabe Valencia, Steve Klein, Tony Kuhn, Jon Busch, Jamel Mitchell, Gabe Eastman, Randy Dedini, Kalin Bankov, Ivailo (Ivo) Ilarianov and Johnny Jones.

The camp reserves the right to fully refund the fee or change the camp dates if the number of campers that sign up are not adequate to maintain the quality of the instruction.
